Overview

SELF-EMPLOYED DELIVERY VAN DRIVERS WANTED. STOKE -ON -TRENT / BIRMINGHAM /WOLVERHAMPTON

Join a seasonal delivery operation as a van driver, helping ensure parcels reach customers safely and reliably. You’ll plan and complete delivery routes, handle goods with care and communicate clearly with customers and colleagues. The role suits someone who is organised, dependable and comfortable with practical, active work.

Duties

  • Load and unload parcels, checking items against delivery information and securing them safely in the van.
  • Drive responsibly between delivery locations, follow route details and complete deliveries accurately.
  • Keep delivery records up to date and promptly report delays, access issues or damaged goods.
  • Communicate courteously with customers and coordinate with warehouse colleagues to support smooth handovers.
  • Your impact: Careful, timely deliveries help customers receive their parcels and enable colleagues to keep daily operations moving.

Qualifications

Required: Practical driving ability, safe van handling, clear communication and the physical capability to manage parcel handling and heavy lifting. Preferred but not essential: Delivery driver experience, commercial driving experience or warehouse experience, which can support confident route work, efficient loading and effective coordination with the wider team.
