Full job description

We are looking for a motivated, driven and enthusiastic individual to join our Team as a Referrals Manager to effectively manage the administrative function of our Homes' referral process and developing and maintaining key stakeholder relationships with Local Authority partners and other stakeholders. We are looking for someone with proven experience in referrals, placements or tender submissions.

Main Responsibilities

· As Referrals Manager, you will oversee, process and action referrals received from Local Authorities and ensure that every service user is matched with the right home according to their needs, in accordance with statutory legislation and requirements.

· Complete all admin tasks of the referrals procedure including responding to expressions of interest to the placement teams and supporting in assessments.

· To monitor and ensure all assessment documentation is received and liaise with the assessing social worker to ensure that the assessment is completed within the statutory guidelines.

· Build and maintain professional relationships with social workers, and other significant service providers and stakeholders.

· Work collaboratively with the Registered Manager to carefully match service users within our homes according to their support needs and preferences.

· Use of own initiative to come up with creative solutions is essential for this role and be able to work effectively within a team.

· Have a good understanding of both young people and adult referral streams.

· You should be able to evidence your administration skills, ability to follow regulatory policies and processes, and have the ability to work well within a fast paced team.

Requirements :

Good organisational skills

Good communication skills, both spoken and written.

A willingness to learn and positive attitude towards undertaking professional training where necessary

Team player

Ability to work on own initiative, organised with the ability to manage numerous tasks
