We are looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking Part-Time Team Member to join our team at Mega Kids World.

We are a busy children's play centre and café, so we're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, is happy to get stuck in and can bring a positive attitude to every shift.

This is a weekday-focused role, with regular weekend and school holiday work also required. We are looking for someone who can offer a good level of flexibility and become a reliable part of our team.

The role:

As part of our team, you will help with the day-to-day running of Mega Kids World, including:

• Welcoming and assisting customers
• Helping families and making sure everyone has a great experience
• Keeping the play centre clean, tidy and welcoming
• Working in our café and preparing food and drinks
• Serving customers and handling payments
• Helping with children's parties and special events
• Restocking and general housekeeping
• Supporting the wider team during busy periods
• Following our food hygiene, health & safety and cleaning procedures

Every shift can be a little different, so we are looking for someone who is happy to be involved in all areas of the business and support the team wherever needed

Hours & Availability:

This is a part-time position, with shifts generally scheduled between our opening hours of 9:30am and 7:00pm.

We are particularly looking for someone who has good availability across Wednesday to Sunday. Monday and Tuesday can generally be kept as days off, although some flexibility may occasionally be needed depending on the rota and business requirements.

There will be a variety of morning, daytime and evening shifts, and due to the needs of the business, we are unable to offer a role where someone is only available for mornings or only for afternoons/evenings.

We also need our team to be available for some weekends, half terms and school holidays, as these are some of our busiest times of the year.

We understand that everyone has other commitments, and we will always do our best to work around your availability when creating the rota. We simply need someone who can offer a reasonable amount of flexibility across the week.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone with the right attitude, reliability and willingness to learn. You don't need to have the perfect CV — we're interested in finding someone who will be a great fit for our team.
