Carpenter – High-End Residential

We are a refurbishment and construction company specialising in high-end residential projects across Central and South West London. We're looking for an experienced Carpenter with solid 1st and 2nd fix skills to join a motivated, friendly team working on quality renovation and refurbishment projects.

The role

You'll work across a range of high-end residential projects, as well as smaller joinery and maintenance works. You'll work independently at times and as part of a team, moving between sites depending on workload.

Key responsibilities

  • 1st fix carpentry including studwork, structural floors and roof framing
  • 2nd fix carpentry including flooring, skirtings, architraves and trims
  • Hanging doors and fitting ironmongery
  • Supporting the wider team on site as required

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years' experience in 1st and 2nd fix carpentry on high-end residential projects
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in your craft
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a small, skilled team
  • Good communication and a proactive, problem-solving attitude
  • Decent set of tools required
  • Self-employed with a valid UTR number (CIS)

Hours and pay

  • Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm
  • Occasional weekend work may be required
  • £22–£25 per hour depending on experience
