Full job description

DJMoore Lofts are looking for a reliable, detail-focused Multi-Trade Snag & Finishing Operative with a strong carpentry background to support our loft conversion teams.

This role is all about finishing jobs properly, clearing snags, and helping projects reach completion smoothly so we can hand over and get paid.

The Role

You’ll move between live and near-complete projects, helping with:

  • 2nd fix carpentry
  • Hanging & adjusting internal doors
  • Trimming doors for carpets/flooring
  • Skirting, architraves & finishing details
  • General snagging & finishing works
  • Making good (filling, sanding, minor repairs)
  • Small plumbing tasks (leaks, traps, adjustments)
  • Assisting teams to push jobs over the line

No two days are the same — this is a problem-solver role, not production carpentry.

  • Multi-trade experience preferred
