Full job description

They don’t hire award-winning craftsman, they build them.

Would you like the opportunity to build something to the best of your talent and ability, without being made to compromise on budget, material quality or your personal life? Multi award-winning Excel Home Design are looking to recruit an experienced craftsperson to join their team. Their Values are what underpin their success and ensure that they have a positive culture, focused on delivering a first class installation every time.

We understand that changing employer can feel like a risky move, so it’s important to ensure at an early stage that what we offer as a company meets your criteria.

Are you interested in…

  • Job security - they have been in business for fifteen years and currently have over two years work in place.
  • Reputation - they are members of the Federation of Master Builders, a Chartered building firm with the CIOB and Which Trusted Traders. Their work has consistently won local and national building awards over the last several years and, in 2021, achieved four FMB Cymru Awards and were Highly Commended as Building Firm of the Year.
  • Life work balance - employ your skills from 8am to 4pm creating stunning projects, then go home feeling good and ready to relax and unwind with your family.
  • Job satisfaction - creating award winning construction that genuinely transforms the way people live in their home.

Can you work in a company where everyone strives to uphold the following?

  • Respect – they work on homes, not building sites.
  • Courtesy – manners cost nothing and make a big difference to their reputation, the customers and each other.
  • Professional - who wants to be “that” person who did a sloppy job?
  • Reliability – be punctual, do what they say they’ll do, don’t let people down.
  • Perfection – every job needs to be perfect.
  • Passionate – they make stunning projects that transform properties, lives and neighbourhoods. Let’s enjoy what they do.

Excellence is not a word, it’s a habit.
