We are looking for an experienced Senior sous chef to join our small team with a minimum of 3 years experience.

We are continually developing the food and beverage, building on our mission to achieve nationally recognised accolades in the current year. We are currently working our way through the refurbishment of bedrooms and guest areas and this will be followed by a brand new kitchen fit out.

We serve fresh British pub food at a restaurant standard, elevating what customers know and love, into something they have never seen but feels familiar. Join our passionate and experienced team who are committed to our exciting journey.

We thrive on updating our specials board with something new and unique every week including 45+ day dry aged steak from 'Lake District farmers' all cooked in our Mibrasa charcoal oven . We are looking for someone as enthusiastic as we are to join our team and work with everyone to continually improve and perfect every dish that we serve

YOU ARE….

….an experienced Sous Chef, who possesses a positive ‘can do attitude’ and embraces progress within a close knit team. You will have already worked within a well organised and disciplined rosette standard kitchen and will share our passion and respect for quality ingredients and classic cooking techniques.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in dish and menu development with the Head Chef and culinary team.
  • Overseeing all operational aspects of the Kitchen Brigade in the absence of the Head Chef.
  • Implementation and adherence to Kitchen and menu SOP’s.
  • Maintaining all Health and Safety standards - COSH and HACCP legislation.
  • Assisting the Head Chef with support, guidance, and appropriate training to members of the kitchen brigade.

We are offering the following package:-

  • Full-time Permanent Contract.
  • Salary: £30,00.00 - £38,000.00 per year plus monthly gratuity share.
  • 5 day working week with 2 days off together. (48 hours maximum).
