3.5T Driver / Porter – Home Furniture Delivery
Location: Nottingham & Surrounding Areas | Self-Employed | Immediate Start Available

About Us:

D&G Freight is a fast-growing, customer-focused delivery company specializing in 2-man white glove furniture deliveries. We pride ourselves on providing a high-quality delivery experience, including careful handling and professional . As our business grows, we're expanding our delivery crews — and we're looking for dependable, motivated individuals to join our team.

Positions Available:

  • 3.5t Driver Luton type – £110/day
  • Porter/Driver’s Assistant – £90/day

What You'll Do:

  • Work as part of a 2-person crew delivering furniture
  • Complete 15–20 customer deliveries per day
  • Load and unload goods with care and professionalism
  • Represent D&G Freight with a positive and respectful attitude

We Provide:

  • Van, insurance, and fuel card provided
  • Full training on delivery, handling, and basic furniture installation
  • A friendly and supportive team environment
  • Weekly pay (paid 2 weeks in arrears)

You Must Have (For Driver):

  • Full, clean UK driving licence (Minimum age 25 for insurance purposes)
  • At least 2 years of UK commercial van driving experience (3.5T Luton van)
  • Experience in multi-drop delivery and customer-facing roles
  • No criminal record (DBS check required)
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items safely (manual handling training provided)
  • Full right to work in the UK

You Must Have:

  • Good communication skills and a strong work ethic
  • Physically fit and comfortable lifting large items
  • Punctual, reliable, and a true team player
  • DBS check required
  • Full right to work in the UK

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Shifts up to 10.45 hours — you finish when the job is done!

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Freelance, Zero hours contract

Pay: £110.00-£120.00 per day
