Experienced Landscaping 360 Excavator Operator

About Us

We are a landscaping contractor working for prestigious clients in some fantastic locations, we specialise in Water Engineering, which includes lake and pond works, formal water, de-silting, earthworks, sea defences, river revetments, reservoirs etc. Our projects are varied and offer interesting opportunities for the right person.

The Position

This position is a varied role, and you will be required to operate plant and equipment and assist with groundworks. The below skills are required for this position.

Working away from home is required with this position. Being accessible to IP31 3HJ is essential.

360 Operator will be required to:

  • Operate 360 Excavators safely, while showing a good level of competence.
  • Be highly skilled in land shaping and contouring works.
  • Follow design drawings and have a good understanding of levels and contours.
  • Work independently as well as part of a larger team.
  • Keep detailed records of hours and works undertaken.
  • Use a range of different attachments.

Advantage would be to have experience in:

  • Landscaping/forming or golf course work.
  • Dredging and silt removal.
  • Constructing lakes, ponds, reservoirs.
  • Wetland habitats and SSSIs projects.
  • Using a grading laser/GPS equipment.
  • Trenching and drainage.
  • Sheet piling/revetment
  • Working from floating pontoons.
  • Managing projects and organising small teams.
  • Large scale earthworks.
  • Have additional plant qualifications or experience.

Groundwork Duties may include, helping our ground works teams with

  • Installing weirs and water controls.
  • Creating waterfalls and installing water feature.
  • Installing oak revetments and fascines.
  • Laying pipes.
  • Assist lining team.
  • Installing footpaths and fencing.
  • Concreting and shuttering.

Qualifications required.

CPCS / NPORS 360 Excavator with Lifting Operations.

SSSTS/SMSTS Preferable

CSCS Card

Full driving licence

Job Type: Full-time
