We are Scene3D, an award-winning 3D virtual tour and spatial capture company. Since launching in 2018, we’ve become one of the UK’s leading providers of immersive 3D content for real-world spaces.

We create interactive 3D virtual tours - similar to Google Street View, but for the inside of buildings - used by businesses across the UK and Europe. Our clients range from estate agencies and property developers to gyms, universities, wedding venues and commercial office providers.

The Role:

We’re looking for a motivated, hands-on individual to join our team as a Trainee 3D Photographer.

This is a practical, varied role where you’ll learn how to:

• Capture spaces using professional 3D scanning and camera equipment
• Produce polished virtual tours ready for public launch
• Work with video, imagery and spatial data
• Understand how immersive content is used for marketing, sales and planning

The role is split between our Sheffield office and on-site shoots. Travel is a core part of the job - we regularly work across the UK and occasionally Europe. Recent projects have included Tower Bridge in London, a historic hotel in rural Scotland, and a modern office building in central Berlin.

If you like the idea of working in different locations, learning technical skills, and being part of a small but ambitious team, this role will suit you.

What you’ll be doing

• 3D scanning and photography of commercial spaces
• Post-production of virtual tours
• Basic video editing and content preparation
• Assisting with point cloud assembly (training provided)
• Supporting the wider team with social media content, portfolio updates and general admin tasks

What we’re looking for

You don’t need previous experience - we’ll train you. What matters most is attitude, curiosity and reliability.

That said, experience or interest in any of the following would be a bonus:

• Photography or videography
• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects)
• CAD or 3D software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit, Cyclone, CloudCompare)

Essential requirements:

• Full UK driving licence
• Own vehicle (travel expenses and food allowance are fully covered)
• Willingness to travel and stay away when required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £25,500.00 per year
