The role

As Contracts Manager you will lead, motivate and support your site teams to deliver their construction projects safely, on time and within budget, ensuring the end product is of high quality and delivers high levels of customer satisfaction.

Health and Safety is our number one priority therefore you will be expected to champion best practice as well as ensuring compliance with statutory obligations and M&Y’s health and safety procedures and processes.

You’ll also work collaboratively with the pre-construction team assisting, wherever required, in the development of competitive tenders and achievable construction programmes.


The right fit

  • You have significant experience in a contracts management role within the building and construction industry, managing delivery of projects with turnover in excess of £10m per annum.
  • Ability to present relevant information and performance data to directors, peers and other colleagues.
  • Expert knowledge of construction best practice and NHBC standards.
  • A successful track record of delivering projects on time, within budget and to a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • You have a full UK driving license.
