Full job description

Focus Vehicle Management Ltd is currently seeking self-employed Trade Plate Drivers to join their existing driver team. You will be responsible for collecting and delivering new and used vehicles nationwide in a timely and professional manner.

Between assignments, you will travel to your next collection point using public transport, which will be shown in the daily plan we send you, the cost of which will be fully reimbursed.

Experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given. You will be smartly presented, hardworking, reliable, enthusiastic and someone who can handle all situations with a smile.

Candidate requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence (must be held for at least 5 years with maximum of 6 points). No IN,DD,DG,DR,CD,MR,TT endorsements.
  • Aged 25 and over to meet insurance requirements.
  • Smartly presented, confident, a problem solver who can deliver excellent customer service.
  • An Android 8.0/iPhone i0S16 (iPhone 9 or above) or newer smartphone in good working condition and still supported with security updates etc.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Good geographical knowledge of UK roads and UK public transport systems.
  • Safe off-road parking.
  • Be willing to complete a free DBS check.
  • Good physical fitness, as the role involves regular walking and the use of public transport between assignments.

This role is not a 9 - 5 role, the hours can be long and will require flexibility, however it is a very enjoyable role for the right person and a great way to see the UK.
