A Village Pub Front of House (FOH) Assistant is required.

ABOUT US:

We are a local busy traditional pub grub Food led village pub, that is independently owned and managed, situated just outside the busy festival town of Upton upon Severn.

We are open 7 days offering Breakfasts Mon- Sat , Lunches 7 days and evening meals Wed- Saturday.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for A team member to join our small team, that is confident, and experienced in a fast paced traditional public house setting.

Ideal candidates will have a proven record of front of house experience, Career progression is available for the right candidate.

Hours are approx 25-40 hours per week over 7 days on a rolling rota basis, including weekdays, evenings and weekends.

You will be the primary face of the establishment, responsible for ensuring guests feel welcome and providing efficient service in a community-focused pub.

  • Customer Service: Greeting locals and visitors with warmth, taking food and drink orders, and managing table reservations.
  • Bar & Floor Service: Serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, pouring pints, and delivering food from the kitchen to tables.
  • Maintenance: Clearing and resetting tables, washing glassware, and keeping the bar area clean and well-stocked.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Interpersonal Skills: A friendly, professional manner is essential for building rapport with regular "locals".
  • Adaptability: The ability to thrive under pressure during busy weekend services while maintaining high standards.
  • Qualifications: No Formal qualifications are required for the role, however experience in a busy pub environment is essential.
  • Hours: Shift patterns vary but will include Weekdays, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • A positive can - do approach, as is the ability to remain calm under pressure, whilst keeping customer service top priority.

DUE TO RURAL LOCATION OWN TRANSPORT IS REQUIRED. THIS IS NOT A LIVE IN POSITION.
