About You:

Are you the kind of engineer who enjoys owning complex backend systems and making them more reliable, scalable and maintainable? Do you thrive on solving production challenges, improving operational resilience and building software that directly impacts customers and business performance? Are you comfortable taking responsibility for systems you did not originally build, understanding how they work, identifying opportunities for improvement and confidently leading technical delivery? If you enjoy solving difficult engineering problems and want to play a key role in one of the UK’s fastest-growing companies, DFYNE could be exactly where you belong.

About DFYNE:

A picture paints a thousand words… and we’re sure you don’t want to sit here reading a corporate essay about who we are. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and operational issues.
  • Participate in incident response and post-incident learning activities.
  • Support architectural decisions that improve scalability and resilience.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Operational stakeholders.
  • Contribute to engineering standards, code review practices, release discipline and software delivery best practice.
  • Mentor less experienced engineers and support team development.
  • Improve observability, monitoring and operational visibility.
  • Identify and address technical debt and system risks.
  • Support integrations with third-party services, logistics partners and business systems.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement across engineering processes.

Skills & Experience:
