  • Experience supporting people with an acquired or traumatic brain injury (ABI/TBI)
  • Understanding of how brain injury can affect executive functioning, impulse control, emotional regulation, processing speed, memory, communication and behaviour
  • Experience supporting people who may demonstrate demand avoidance or heightened distress in response to perceived demands
  • Experience working with and consistently implementing an individualised Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plan
  • Someone with an outgoing personality, a good sense of humour that isn't easily offended and a proactive approach to suggesting meaningful activities.
