Phillies Café is looking for an experienced and passionate chef to join our growing team, working sociable daytime hours (8am–5pm in winter and 8am–6pm in summer). This is an exciting opportunity to become part of an established, independent business that continues to expand

About the Role

  • Preparing and delivering high-quality, fresh food to a consistently high standard
  • Maintaining a professional, safe, hygienic, and cost-effective kitchen environment
  • Adhering to all food hygiene and EHO regulations
  • Supporting the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth service
  • Assisting in menu development, ingredient sourcing, and dish costing to meet GP targets

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 2 year’s experience with strong cafe or restaurant experience
  • Proven passion for cooking and fresh food
  • Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
  • Reliability and longevity in previous roles
  • Flexibility to occasionally support evening openings
  • To live close to be able to commute to Radlett.

  • Hours: 35-45 per week daytime hours
