Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidate will be the welcoming face of our establishment, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a memorable experience for all visitors. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about the hospitality industry, with a focus on delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. The position is paid and suitable for those eager to develop their skills within a dynamic team.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure they feel valued throughout their visit
  • Take orders accurately, offering menu recommendations and upselling where appropriate to enhance guest experience
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
  • Handle payments accurately using the POS system and provide correct change or receipts
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
  • Assist in food preparation tasks as required, adhering to food safety standards
  • Manage guest enquiries promptly, resolving any issues with professionalism and courtesy
  • Support team members during busy periods, ensuring smooth operation of the service flow
  • Promote specials and new menu items to maximise sales opportunities

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided for motivated individuals
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and basic food preparation skills are advantageous
  • Strong communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
