Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Breakfast Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of breakfast dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about culinary arts to contribute to a welcoming dining environment and deliver exceptional breakfast experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a diverse range of breakfast items according to established recipes and standards
  • Ensure all food is prepared fresh, presented attractively, and served promptly
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in accordance with food safety regulations
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure ingredients are available for daily service
  • Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
  • Assist in menu planning and suggest new breakfast dishes to enhance guest satisfaction
  • Serve food efficiently and courteously to guests when required

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
  • Experience with meal preparation and culinary techniques specific to breakfast dishes
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
  • Previous experience in restaurant service or serving is advantageous but not essential
  • A passion for creating high-quality breakfast offerings and delivering excellent customer service
