Summary: As Director you will
service and maintain relationships with a portfolio of clients. Responsibilities include portfolio of clients with complex structures or more demanding needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as an independent FATCA responsible officer and principal point of contact for Reporting Financial Institutions (RFIs) with their relevant Tax Authorities.
• Perform detailed review of all documentation and communications for assigned portfolio of clients and demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the issues at hand and complete awareness of Waystone procedures.
• Assist with designing, implementing and overseeing internal controls and operating procedures.
• Conducts final review of documentation for signature and requests changes or queries changes as required.
• Monitors the accounts receivable for portfolio of clients.
• Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of US and CRS due diligence in accordance with the Intergovernmental Agreements, US Treasury Regulations, other applicable legislation, regulations and administrative guidance.
• Keep abreast of all regulatory changes.
• Actively question methods and processes with the key to making the team more effective and efficient.
• Become an AEOI knowledge, encourage and coach other members of the team by knowledge sharing and hosting training sessions where required.
• Able/willing to take on additional duties as and when required.
• Set and monitor performance goals of team members including KPI’s, Board Meetings, Fund Performance and Accounts Receivable, reporting on an ongoing basis.
• Lead, supervise and mentors the Associate group. This includes performance management, recruitment, employment relations and all people-related issues.
• Manage workloads of Associates including reallocation of work when appropriate.
• Encourage and offer training and development for team members.
• Coach, mentor and provide training to the Associate groups.
• Actively lead and monitor team projects.
• Review and present FRO Reports for board meetings and attend phone calls.
• Ensure all regulatory and compliance requirements are met for assigned portfolio of clients.
• Assisting the Managing Director with Business Development and Marketing initiatives.

Education:

• Minimum of an Associate’s Degree or a legal qualification with at least 5 years of industry-related experience.

Experience:

• Transfer Agency experience is an asset.
• Strong working knowledge of FATCA/CRS compliance requirements.
• Outstanding time management, organizational skills, oral/written communication skills, critical thinking and attention to detail is required.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment including reporting and providing support to various members of the team.
• Must be able to travel frequently internationally.
• Strong MS Office Skills; senior-level information management software experience required.
