Position: Food & Beverage Assistant

Location: Loch Rannoch Hotel, Scotland

Salary: £13.00 per hour

Job Summary:
The Loch Rannoch Hotel, a thriving 4-star resort in the stunning Scottish Highlands, is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Food & Beverage Assistant to join our dynamic team. Working across our popular outlets – The Estate Room (AA Rosette-awarded fine dining), The Wild Brownie (family-friendly pub), and takeaway services – you will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences for residents, timeshare guests, and non-residents alike.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy and rewarding environment, supporting the smooth operation of our breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, and bar services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Service:
  • Provide a warm, friendly, and professional service to all guests, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Take food and drink orders accurately and deliver items in a timely, professional manner.
  • Operational Support:
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of dining areas for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, and events.
  • Maintain clean and organised service stations, ensuring hygiene standards are met at all times.
  • Teamwork:
  • Work closely with colleagues across The Estate Room, The Wild Brownie, and the bar, as well as kitchen teams and reception team to ensure smooth service.
  • Assist with stock control, restocking supplies, and reporting shortages to supervisors.
  • Standards and Compliance:
  • Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including maintaining cleanliness and adhering to hotel SOPs.
  • Present yourself professionally in appearance and conduct at all times.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience:
  • Previous experience in food and beverage service, ideally in a hotel or high-volume dining environment, is preferred. Training will be provided.
  • Skills & Attributes:
  • A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • A positive, adaptable, and proactive attitude.
  • Availability:
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
