CLEANING TEAM MEMBERS

Reporting to the Cleaning Supervisor | Avant Glamp | NEC, Birmingham

Avant Glamp is looking for reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Cleaning Team Members to join our glamping accommodation site at the NEC, Birmingham.

You will report directly to the Cleaning Supervisor and work as part of a team to ensure all accommodation and communal areas are cleaned, prepared and presented to a high standard for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

● Report directly to the Cleaning Supervisor.

● Work as part of the cleaning and housekeeping team.

● Clean and prepare glamping accommodation between guest stays.

● Thoroughly clean bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and living areas.

● Change bedding, make beds and replace towels.

● Replenish toiletries, guest supplies and amenities.

● Clean communal areas and other facilities when required.

● Follow cleaning schedules, checklists and instructions provided by the Cleaning Supervisor.

● Complete cleaning duties within the required timeframes.

● Report maintenance issues, damages, missing items or defects to the Cleaning Supervisor.

● Maintain cleaning equipment and use cleaning products safely.

● Support colleagues and assist with additional duties during busy periods.

● Follow all company health and safety procedures.

● Ensure accommodation is ready for inspection and guest arrival.

Requirements

● Reliable, punctual and hardworking.

● Good attention to detail.

● Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

● Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

● Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.

● Flexible approach to working hours and duties.

● Willingness to work weekends and bank holidays.

● Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is preferred but not essential.

Working Hours

● Rota-based working system covering seven days a week.

● Weekend and bank holiday working will be required.

● Working hours will vary according to operational requirements.

● Flexibility during busy periods is essential.
