Holiday Let Housekeeper – £18 Per Hour

Great Dunmow & Surrounding Areas, Essex

£18.00 per hour | Flexible Casual Hours | Regular Ongoing Work

We are looking for a reliable, experienced and detail-focused Housekeeper to join our small team looking after a portfolio of high-quality holiday accommodation.

We take great pride in our properties and are looking for someone who shares our commitment to exceptionally high cleaning and presentation standards.

Your responsibilities

  • Cleaning and preparing properties between guest stays
  • Changing beds and preparing fresh linen and towels
  • Thoroughly cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
  • Restocking guest supplies and essentials
  • Reporting damage or maintenance issues
  • Completing housekeeping checklists and ensuring every property is beautifully presented

Working hours

This is a flexible, casual-hours position with regular ongoing work, although hours are not guaranteed.

Our guests normally check out at 10:00am, with new arrivals from 3:00pm.

Cleaning will generally take place between these times, with work scheduled around confirmed guest bookings.

You'll work alongside our Lead Housekeeper and independently when required.

Work may include weekdays and weekends, with occasional additional shifts offered at short notice.

What we're looking for

  • Previous professional cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Reliable, trustworthy and hardworking
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Good communication and time-management skills
  • Flexibility around changing booking schedules
  • Own transport essential
