L3 Accountancy Apprentice with Roches Chartered Accountants

Weekly Hours Worked: Monday to Thursday, 9 - 5, Friday 9 - 4.30. (Half an hour for lunch) 37 hours

Salary: £15.392 for the first year

We are an expanding firm of chartered accountants looking to recruit an accountancy apprentice. This is a great opportunity to receive “on the job” training as well as study towards the widely recognised AAT qualification.

Full Description:

About Company:

We are a small & friendly firm of chartered accountants based in Segensworth, Hampshire. We deal with all matters relating to accountancy & taxation as well as providing support & advice to help our clients achieve their business goals.

Your duties will include:

  • Supporting our outsourcing department with client bookkeeping and VAT returns. This will include processing invoices, preparing bank reconciliations, posting transactions and keeping financial records accurate and up to date.
  • Learning how to use accounting software such as Xero and Sage.
  • Assisting with meeting client expectations and deadlines.
  • Assisting with the preparation of accounts for a wide portfolio of clients including sole traders, partnerships & limited companies.
  • As you progress, you will gain experience in the preparation of tax computations for individuals as well as companies.
  • Assisting with general administrative duties such as greeting clients, filing, answering the phone & supporting the team as needed.

You will receive full training and work closely with experienced accountancy professionals throughout your apprenticeship.

Future Prospects:

Progression to AAT Level 4 if successful at Level 3.
