Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee our organisation’s financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all financial data. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to strategic decision-making and support the organisation’s growth through effective financial management. The ideal applicant will possess strong expertise in accounting software and financial management practices, with a focus on delivering precise and timely financial information.

Job Description

· To produce accurate & timely monthly management accounts

· To ensure an effective controls environment is created.

· Optimise ERP process to support control.

· To ensure balance sheet integrity.

· Create and control budgeting process, interfacing with SLT and budget holders.

· Maintain effective & detailed 13 week cash forecast and overlay with funding availability.

· Support with rolling forecasts and working capital modelling.

Responsibilities

· Effective financial reporting and development of KPI’s

· Compliance, VAT, PAYE/NIC, Corp & Deferred Tax, Statutory Audit.

· Day to day management of accounts team, AR, AP, Payroll & Management Accountant.

Candidate Profile

· Experienced qualified accountant with 10+ PQE

· Experience of an SME environment with multi entities.

· Be able to maintain an overarching view of the business but without losing sight of the detail.

Pay: £80,000.00-£90,000.00 per year
