Role : Air Conditioning Engineer
Location : Birmingham

  • Salary up to : £42,500pa
  • Contracted Hours : 40 hour week ( 8.30am - 5pm including lunch )
  • Door to door

We are a well-established Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Mechanical and Heating provider, operating successfully for over 30 years. With a team of more than 200 highly skilled engineers, project managers, and support staff across the UK, we deliver reliable, high-quality engineering solutions to a diverse portfolio of blue-chip clients.

Our expertise spans the full lifecycle of building services, including design, installation, maintenance, and reactive support. We work across a wide range of sectors such as national and local government, NHS healthcare facilities, education campuses, commercial offices, retail environments, and large-scale distribution centres.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out warranty work, part replacements, fault finding, remedials, planned and reactive maintenance, servicing, and breakdowns.
  • The role will be 80% air conditioning and 20% refrigeration
  • Deliver a professional service, ensuring works are completed to the highest standard and in line with client expectations.
  • Provide clear communication and accurate documentation for all works undertaken.
  • Liaise with clients, site staff, and office teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

Working on a wide variety of systems including

  • VRV / VRF systems/
  • Split system
  • Close control systems
  • CRAC units
  • AHU package units
  • Chillers

Requirements:

  • FGAS 2079 Category 1 certification.
  • Previous experience in servicing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems.
  • Strong technical knowledge of VRV/VRF, splits
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic ability.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
