Blue Sky Enabling is a specialist provider of high-quality social care services supporting adults with learning disabilities (LD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), older people, mental health needs, physical disabilities, and disruptive behaviours.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and compassionate Care Manager to join our growing management team based in Trowbridge.

This is a rewarding leadership role for someone who combines strong operational management skills with genuine compassion, creativity, and a commitment to delivering exceptional care.

The Role:

As Care Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of supported living and community-based services across Wiltshire and surrounding areas, supporting adults with complex needs.

You will work closely with the Strategic Management Team to ensure services remain compliant, person-centred, and outcome-focused, while leading and developing staff teams to deliver high-quality support.

This is a hybrid role, with opportunities to work from home on designated days alongside office-based and service-based responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage high-quality person-centred services
  • Oversee care packages for adults of all ages with LD, ASD, mental health needs, physical disabilities, and disruptive behaviours
  • Conduct assessments, care planning, and service reviews
  • Create, review, and oversee support plans, risk assessments, and Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs)
  • Recruit, onboard, supervise, and support staff teams
  • Carry out staff supervisions, spot checks, appraisals, and performance management
  • Ensure safe staffing levels and effective rota management
  • Build positive working relationships with service users, families, professionals, and external agencies
  • Ensure all services meet CQC standards, policies, and best practice guidelines
  • Conduct regular audits, service visits, investigations, and quality monitoring
  • Support safeguarding processes and incident management
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and engaging culture across services
  • Contribute to the development and growth of new services
  • Participate as part of the on-call rota and provide operational support when required
  • Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role of Senior Care Manager

About You:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated manager who is passionate about improving the lives of people with complex needs.

You will:

  • Hold a Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care
  • Have at least 2 years’ management experience within adult social care
  • Have experience supporting adults of all ages with:
  • Learning disabilities
  • Autism
  • Mental and physical health needs
  • Disruptive Behaviours
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance standards
  • Be confident working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and families
  • Have excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Be organised, resilient, and proactive
  • Be confident using digital care systems and IT platforms
  • Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle
