Full job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional individual, who we can train for guiding and driving aspects of this role. This is an opportunity to act as an ambassador to people from around the world, to some of the most beautiful parts of England. Making connections, building memories and working with an industry leading organisation making which makes your role as simple as possible.

All driver training (D1 CPC) and guide training provided.

Driving Qualifications

For this role you will need

A valid UK driving license for the last 5 years, with no driving penalty points in the last 5 years

Days Required

2 or 3 Days Per Week (Flexible On Exact Days)

Vehicle Depot is located in Barnes, you need to be there for 7am, returning back at 6:30pm. Route will be London to Oxford or similar.

Term Of Contract

The contract is until April 2027, with potential to extend.

Responsibilities

  • Drive clients to their destinations in a safe and timely manner.
  • Provide engaging information about historical sites of interest.
  • Maintain vehicles by conducting regular inspections, ensuring cleanliness, and performing minor repairs as needed.
  • Provide light external and internal cleaning.
  • Communicate with clients regarding pick-up times, routes, and any changes in schedule.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a high standard of safety.
  • Provide excellent customer service by being courteous and professional at all times.

Qualifications

  • Required: UK driving license with 5+ years of regular driving experience. You must have no points on you license.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • Previous experience in commercial driving is advantageous but not essential.
  • A professional attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
