Full time hours 40, part time hours minimum of 28 hours per week

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Clinical Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive, person centred, Adult Autism assessments.

- Exercise independent professional responsibility for diagnostic decision-making within competence.

- Administer and interpret standardized assessment tools such as the ADOS-2 is essential. ADI-R is desirable.

- Write detailed, accurate, and professional assessment reports highlighting findings and recommendations.

- Provide feedback to individuals and families and assist with post-diagnostic support.

- Complete risk assessments and review safeguarding needs during ongoing patient care.

- Work closely with senior leadership team on the further development of the Autism pathways.

- Provide consultation and training other members of staff to develop skills in this area of expertise.

- Maintain registration with the appropriate governing body (NMC/HCPC,Social Work England).

- Access regular clinical supervision, management supervision, and multi-disciplinary team meetings/case discussions.

- Good knowledge of legislation, research and developments relevant to the field of Autism.

Qualifications and Experience:

Essential:

· Qualified healthcare professional with current UK registration with the appropriate governing body (i.e. NMC, HCPC) with no restrictions on practice

· Experience in conducting autism assessments using ADOS-2. ADI-R is desirable but not essential .

· Ability to work unsupervised and independently and manage own workload.

· Excellent clinical decision-making skills

· Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage with clients, colleagues and carers.

· Experience with remote work and conducting virtual clinics.

· Detailed understanding of co-occurring conditions and differential diagnosis, including mental health conditions.

· Strong understanding of NICE Guidelines for Autism assessment and diagnosis.

· Strong communication, empathy, analytical skills, and experience with neurodivergent individuals.

Flexibility:

- You are expected to be flexible in the duties you carry out and ADHD 360 reserves the right to vary your duties from time to time in line with service needs. You may therefore be required, during your employment, to work in a different team and/or to carry out alternative duties consistent with your role, knowledge and experience, taking account of any professional registration or qualification requirements.

Pay: £60,000.00 per year
