Data Entry Administrator

Northampton (NN4) | Monday–Friday, 12:00–21:00 | Permanent

Join a global logistics leader

At DACHSER, we keep the world moving-handling over 83 million shipments each year, from everyday goods to life-saving supplies. But what truly sets us apart is our people.

You’ll be joining a supportive, fast-paced team where your work makes a real difference, your ideas are valued, and every day brings something new.

What you’ll be doing

This role is all about keeping things accurate, organised, and moving smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll play a key part in ensuring shipments can cross borders without delays.

Day-to-day, you’ll:

  • Gather and organise information from customers and internal teams
  • Enter and process customs and transit data accurately into systems
  • Check documentation to make sure everything is correct and compliant
  • Investigate and fix any rejected or incorrect entries
  • Support the wider team to keep workflows running smoothly
  • Communicate with colleagues, managers, and occasionally external authorities
  • Use tools like Outlook, Excel, and Teams to manage your work efficiently

If you enjoy working with detail, solving problems, and being part of a team, this role will suit you perfectly.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Confident communicating both verbally and in writing
  • Comfortable using computers and Microsoft Office
  • A good problem-solver who stays calm under pressure
  • Customer-focused and committed to quality
  • Adaptable and able to manage changing priorities

Previous experience in administration, data entry, or working to deadlines is helpful-but most importantly, we’re looking for the right attitude and willingness to learn.

What you’ll get in return

We believe in looking after our people, both at work and beyond:

  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Free on-site parking
  • Life assurance for peace of mind
  • Employee Assistance Programme for wellbeing support
  • Access to discounts on holidays, shopping, gyms and more
  • Pension scheme to help you plan for the future
  • Free eye tests and health perks
  • Referral bonuses and long service awards

A place where you belong

At DACHSER, we’re proud to be an inclusive employer where everyone is welcome. We know that diverse teams make us stronger-and we’re committed to creating an environment where you can thrive.

Ready to get started?

If you’re looking for a role where you can build your skills, be part of a great team, and play a key role in global logistics-we’d love to hear from you.
