The Flat Pack Man NI Ltd is a well-established, small family-run business based in Bangor. With consistent year-on-year growth, we’re expanding our team and looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Warehouse / Admin Assistant to join us.

About the Role

This is a varied, hands-on position that combines office-based admin and customer service with light warehouse duties. You will be the friendly face of the business — supporting customers in our showroom while also helping keep operations running smoothly behind the scenes.

Pay: £15.20 per hour

Location : Bangor

Hours: 30 hours per week

Monday – Wednesday: 8:30am – 4:30pm

Thursday: 8:30am – 2:30pm

Overtime and additional hours are available depending on business needs. Both part-time and full-time options can be considered.

Rate: £15.20 per hour (£23,712 per annum for 30 hours, opportunities to earn up to £29,818)

Key Responsibilities

  • Answering phone calls and responding to customer enquiries via email and WhatsApp
  • Booking jobs, preparing quotes, and sending invoices
  • Greeting customers in the showroom and helping them with our media walls and laminate flooring ranges
  • Liaising with management and our on-site joinery teams
  • Receiving and processing deliveries in the warehouse
  • Picking and preparing orders for collection by joiners
  • Operating a forklift (training and licence can be provided if needed)

Requirements (Essential)

  • Proven experience in admin and customer service
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Confident using computers, Microsoft Office, email, and social media
  • Ability to work between the office and warehouse environments
  • Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently when required

Advantageous but not essential:

  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Forklift (FLT) licence
  • Joinery or building trade knowledge
