Full job description
At Nova Care Group, we deliver safe, consistent and personalised care to young people up to the age of 25. Ensuring the right people join our organisation is fundamental to maintaining our standards, which is why onboarding is a critical part of our success and where you come in.
We are looking for a methodical and proactive Onboarding Administrator to join our team based in Peterlee. This pivotal role will be responsible for ensuring every stage of onboarding process is completed with accuracy, integrity and professionalism.
If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a natural eye for detail, this could be the role for you.
Our Onboarding Administrator will be:
- Conducting safer recruitment checks including DBS, Right to Work, employment history, referencing, completing risk assessments and escalating concerns where required
- Administrating new starter contracts and onboarding documentation
- First point of contact for onboarding enquiries
- Creating and maintaining accurate personnel files and tracking systems, updating relevant departments on the progress of candidates
- Ensuring compliance with internal standards as well as Ofsted and CQC frameworks
Our Onboarding Administrator will have:
- Experience in an administration role, ideally in HR, recruitment, compliance or onboarding
- Ability to own and follow processes - knowledge of safeguarding, DBS and Right to Work processes would be advantageous but not essential
- Exceptional attention to detail and be highly organised
- An analytical and proactive approach and be confident communicating with internal and external stakeholders
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
We’ll be offering our Onboarding Administrator:
- A competitive salary of £30,000 per annum depending on experience.
- 25 days annual leave, which increases with length of service, plus bank holidays and your birthday off
- Private healthcare
- Company pension and reward schemes
- Access to Blue Light discount card
- A truly values-driven culture where your voice and ideas matter
If you’re passionate about making sure candidates have a successful onboarding journey and share our commitment to integrity and safeguarding, apply now and become part of our dedicated team making a positive impact for young people.
Nova Care Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the young people we support. This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check and referencing checks.
