Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Logistics Administrator to oversee and optimise our logistics operations. This role involves managing transportation, asset tracking and organising distribution to ensure seamless customer deliveries. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about supply chain management and process optimisation to contribute to organisational success.

Responsibilities

  • Co-ordinate and manage all incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Freight forwarder and shipping company liaison and main PoC
  • Co-ordinate imports and exports and ensure legislative compliance
  • Produce and maintain ALL required logistics asset registers
  • Battery & dangerous goods SME
  • GFE asset management/reporting
  • Loan kit/bailment management/logistics/reporting
  • Monitor and track RMA’s/repairs & loaner items
  • Completion of customer & supplier logistics compliance paperwork
  • Host/manage compliance visits
  • Completion of paperwork and compiling audit trail
  • Delivery of orders to customers (incl all associated paperwork)
  • Receipt of purchases from suppliers (incl all associated paperwork)
  • Ensure you remain the SME in all required aspects of logistics
  • Provide Administrative support to the Head of Operations (HOO)
  • Other business support as required

Key Capabilities/Knowledge Required:

  • Working with freight forwarders and logistics companies
  • Experience/Knowledge of MoD logistics processes preferable
  • Experience running internal company processes preferable
  • Experience with Government Legislative Compliance preferable
  • Attention to detail essential

Pay: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Twyning, Gloucestershire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
