We're looking for an experienced Regional Quality Manager in the East Sussex Area to join our growing team and lead quality assurance, governance and continuous improvement across our portfolio of homes.

About the Role

As Regional Quality Manager, you'll work closely with General Managers and operational leaders to ensure every home consistently delivers outstanding care and remains fully compliant with regulatory and company standards.

You'll lead quality improvement initiatives, support inspection readiness, investigate incidents and complaints, and help develop our teams through coaching, mentoring and training. Your expertise will play a vital role in enhancing resident outcomes while protecting and strengthening the reputation of Crystal Care Collection.

This is a hybrid role requiring regular travel across the South of England, including occasional overnight stays where operationally required.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Governance

• Ensure homes comply with CQC regulations, legislation and Crystal Care Collection policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular audits, governance reviews and quality inspections across the region.
• Develop and implement action plans to drive continuous improvement and address identified risks.
• Support homes in preparing for regulatory inspections and maintaining inspection readiness.

Care Quality

• Monitor the quality of care delivered, ensuring residents receive safe, effective and person-centred support.
• Review care planning processes and support improvements where required.
• Work collaboratively with residents, families and home teams to resolve care concerns promptly and effectively.

Leadership & Development

• Deliver coaching, mentoring and training to General Managers and care teams to promote best practice.
• Support homes in embedding a culture of continuous learning and quality improvement.
• Assist with the development and implementation of governance frameworks and quality initiatives.

Risk & Compliance

• Lead investigations into incidents, complaints and safeguarding concerns where required.
• Identify emerging risks and implement strategies to minimise their impact.
• Maintain accurate records and monitor trends to inform quality improvement plans.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Build positive relationships with residents, families, regulators, commissioners and healthcare professionals.
• Act as a key point of contact for quality-related matters across the region.
• Work collaboratively with operational teams to ensure consistent standards across all services.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

Essential

• Has a minimum of five years' experience in a care management or quality role within adult social care.
• Holds, or is working towards, an NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• Has extensive experience of regulatory compliance and quality assurance.
• Possesses excellent knowledge of CQC standards and governance frameworks.
• Has strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills.
• Is confident analysing data and implementing quality improvement strategies.
• Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Is proficient in Microsoft Office and quality reporting systems.
• Holds a full UK driving licence and is willing to travel extensively.

Desirable

• Experience supporting multiple care homes or regional operations.
• Experience preparing services for CQC inspections and managing post-inspection action plans.
• Knowledge of Person Centred Software (PCS) or similar care management systems.

Working Pattern

• Monday – Friday
• 9:00am – 5:00pm
• 40 hours per week
• Hybrid working with regular travel across the South of England and occasional overnight stays.

Salary

• £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
