JCare Worker (Day & Night) – Extra Care Housing

Location: Carlton Dene Extra Care Scheme, Westminster, NW6
Salary: £14.80 per hour
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time
Shift Pattern: 24/7 rota (Days, Nights, Weekends)

About the Role

Chosen Care Group is looking for compassionate and reliable Care Workers to join our Extra Care Housing service in Westminster.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support older adults and individuals with care needs to live independently in their own homes while maintaining dignity, choice, and wellbeing.

You will be part of a dedicated 24/7 care team, delivering high-quality, person-centred support within a Westminster-commissioned Extra Care scheme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and daily living support
  • Support residents with mobility, nutrition, and wellbeing
  • Encourage independence and choice in daily routines
  • Administer or prompt medication (where trained)
  • Maintain accurate care records and communicate effectively with the team
  • Support emotional wellbeing and reduce social isolation
  • Respond to call bells and ensure resident safety, especially during night shifts

About You

  • Caring, compassionate, and reliable
  • Previous care experience (home care, supported living, or residential care) preferred
  • Able to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Committed to dignity, respect, and person-centred care
  • Experience supporting older people, dementia, physical disabilities, or long-term conditions is desirable
