Job Introduction

Medway Adult Education is seeking a sessional Art and Crafts Tutor to deliver engaging daytime and evening courses. Teaching will primarily take place at our Rochester centre, with occasional sessions at community venues across Medway.

This role involves teaching non‑accredited courses to adult learners of mixed ability levels. The successful candidate will hold a recognised subject qualification and have experience teaching adults.

We welcome applications from tutors with one or more of the following specialisms:


  • Calligraphy
  • Mixed media
  • Fine art
  • Glass art
  • Sculpture
  • Textile art
  • Crafts
  • Batik
  • Silk painting
