Join Our Team

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Advanced Clinical Practitioner – Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Prescribing Paramedic to join our friendly and forward-thinking general practice.

We welcome applications from:

  • Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs) with an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice (or equivalent)
  • Independent Prescribing Paramedics with primary or urgent care experience

The Role

You will be an integral member of our same-day care team, providing autonomous clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients through telephone triage and face-to-face consultations.

Key duties include:

  • Managing acute and minor illness presentations
  • Independent prescribing and medication reviews
  • Clinical assessment of undifferentiated patients
  • Supporting health promotion and preventative care
  • Managing referrals, escalation, and collaborative care planning
  • Contributing to clinical governance and service improvement

We are a supportive, training-focused practice in Hampshire caring for over 17,000 patients. Our multidisciplinary team includes GPs, ACPs, ANPs, nurses, healthcare assistants, and experienced administrative support.

Person Specification

Essential

  • Registered ANP or HCPC-registered Paramedic
  • MSc-level Advanced Clinical Practice qualification (or equivalent)
  • Independent Prescriber
  • Experience in autonomous assessment and telephone triage
  • Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills

Desirable

  • Primary care or urgent care experience
  • Minor Illness qualification
  • EMIS Web experience
  • Teaching or mentorship experience
