IRS Engineer Location(s): London & Home Counties Salary: From £26,000 pa – based on experience Summary: The role is varied and covers installations of MDUs, IRS, SMATV, MATV & FTTH systems; you will also be required to provide quotes, find faults and solve problems, fast and logical thinking is required. Experience & Requirements: Aerial & Satellite installation, maintenance and service. IRS, MATV, SMATV & FIBRE. Fault finding and problem solving. Surveying and producing quotes. Managing van stock. Direct facing customer service. A full UK driving licence – necessary. The following certification is desirable: Working at heights certificate. NVQ Level 2 Signal (Aerial) Reception. CAI Basic Aerial installation certificate. CAI Basic Satellite installation certificate. Digital TV Systems resettlement certificate. Fibre experience preferred not essential. We are looking to fill roles with the right people, suitable applicants will be asked to interview immediately. All roles are subject to 6 month probation, 5 years referencing, medical screening and a criminal record check. Salaries from £26,000 pa, plus overtime, 45 hour working week and participation in the weekend standby rota (1 in 4). Successful screening check to NSI Gold standard or as required by the Company.
