Key responsibilities
You will be responsible for carrying out a range of workshop duties, including:

- Motorhome habitation inspections and servicing
- Mechanical and chassis inspections and repairs
- Damp testing, water-ingress diagnosis and remedial repairs
- Internal woodwork, furniture and structural repairs
- Diagnosis and repair of 12V and 230V electrical systems
- Diagnosis and repair of water, heating and plumbing systems
- LPG system inspection, servicing and repair where appropriately qualified
- Appliance fault diagnosis, including heating systems, water heaters, refrigerators and cookers
- Warranty inspections, diagnosis and repair
- Installation of accessories including motor movers, solar panels, bike racks, awnings, television aerials and reversing-camera systems
- Completing accurate job cards, service reports and inspection documentation
- Explaining completed work clearly and professionally to customers where required
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop
- Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive working environment
All gas and electrical work must be completed in accordance with the employee’s qualifications, competence and current industry requirements.
About you
We are looking for someone who:
- Has practical experience in caravan or motorhome servicing, vehicle mechanics, auto electrics, agricultural engineering, marine engineering or another relevant skilled trade
- Has strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
- Takes pride in producing safe, tidy and high-quality work
- Can work independently while also supporting the wider workshop team
- Is reliable, organised and able to manage their workload
- Communicates professionally with colleagues and customers
- Is comfortable completing service records and technical documentation
- Holds a full UK driving licence
Previous caravan or motorhome experience would be highly advantageous, but we are more interested in finding someone with the right practical ability, attitude and willingness to develop.
Desirable qualifications
The following qualifications or experience would be beneficial but are not essential for every applicant:
- NCC Caravan Service Award
- Approved Workshop Scheme experience

- STGW or relevant LPG qualifications
- AL-KO chassis or trailer-servicing training
- Alde, Truma, Thetford, Whale or Sargent product training
- Experience with damp repairs and internal caravan construction
- Relevant automotive, electrical, mechanical or engineering qualifications
Additional caravan-industry training may be provided to the right candidate.
What we offer
- Salary of £30,000–£40,000 depending on experience and qualifications
- Full-time, permanent employment
- Company-provided tools and workshop equipment
- Ongoing technical training and professional development
- Opportunities to gain additional caravan-industry qualifications
