Full job description
Company description
We design, supply, install and maintain audio systems for a wide variety of clients - primarily in retail but also in leisure, hotels, restaurants, distribution centres and other sectors.
We do some work with aerial/TV and video systems as well but we are known for our expertise in sound
All of our engineers are home based and we provide a van, phone and tools. Due to the geographical areas covered, a lot of the work is single person but our engineers are great at sharing knowledge and providing support to each other. There will be significant travel involved and some out of hours work, occasionally staying away too.
Job description
Due to the addition of several new customers, we are looking for someone to join our National team of audio engineers
We're looking for someone with the right attitude and approach - thinking on your feet and having a creative approach to problem solving is of paramount importance.
Ideally based around the Chesterfield/Sheffield area, the role will primarily require you to install and service audio systems for our clients, which are predominantly retail but also fitting centres, hospitality/leisure and houses of worship.
Experience in audio systems is not essential but it would be very helpful for you to have had experience in installation and/or service work in a similar discipline, e.g. data, alarms, etc.
Our working days are flexible and may include out of hours work from time to time. A van and fuel card will be provided for business use only`.
