SCCI Alphatrack specialise in Security, Life Safety & TV Media solutions working for some of the largest names in Social Landlords, Home Builders, Government, Hospitality and Broadcasters in the UK


IRS Engineer

Location(s): London & Home Counties

Salary: From £26,000 pa – based on experience

Summary:

The role is varied and covers installations of MDUs, IRS, SMATV, MATV & FTTH systems; you will also be required to provide quotes, find faults and solve problems, fast and logical thinking is required.

Experience & Requirements:

  • Aerial & Satellite installation, maintenance and service.
  • IRS, MATV, SMATV & FIBRE.
  • Fault finding and problem solving.
  • Surveying and producing quotes.
  • Managing van stock.
  • Direct facing customer service.
  • A full UK driving licence – necessary.

The following certification is desirable:

  • Working at heights certificate.
  • NVQ Level 2 Signal (Aerial) Reception.
  • CAI Basic Aerial installation certificate.
  • CAI Basic Satellite installation certificate.
  • Digital TV Systems resettlement certificate.
  • Fibre experience preferred not essential.

We are looking to fill roles with the right people, suitable applicants will be asked to interview immediately.

All roles are subject to 6 month probation, 5 years referencing, medical screening and a criminal record check. Salaries from £26,000 pa, plus overtime, 45 hour working week and participation in the weekend standby rota (1 in 4).

  • Have a valid Right to Work in the UK.
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence.
  • Successful screening check to NSI Gold standard or as required by the Company.
