Geomatics Surveyor (Laser Scanning & Measured Surveys)

South-East London
£38,000 – £42,000 per year

About Us

Scope Surveys are a growing and technically focused surveying company based in South-East London, delivering high-quality measured surveys, laser scanning, and verified views across London and the South-East.

We are looking for an experienced Geomatics Surveyor to join our team as we continue to expand.

The Role

This role is suited to a surveyor who can confidently manage projects from site capture through to final deliverables, with a strong focus on laser scanning, scan registration, and measured survey outputs.

You should be comfortable working independently on site, while also contributing effectively within a wider team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out topographical and measured building surveys
  • Laser scanning and scan registration
  • Producing verified views and survey deliverables
  • Managing projects from site through to final output
  • Setting out and survey control where required
  • Liaising with clients and internal team

Essential Experience

  • 6-10+ years’ experience in geomatics or land surveying
  • Strong experience with laser scanning and point cloud registration
  • Ability to manage projects independently from capture to delivery
  • Good understanding of survey control and accuracy requirements
  • Experience using Leica robotic total stations and scanners

Desirable Skills

  • Leica Cyclone (or similar point cloud processing software)
  • N4CE
  • BricsCAD
