Job Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-orientated graduate surveyor to join our small, growing team. Must be adept at liaising with customers and committed to high levels of customer service. We focus solely on the residential surveying market including pre-purchase surveys, defect surveys and drone surveys.

The role would suit someone with experience in construction, defect analysis, surveying older properties, and prepurchase surveys (Level 2 and Level 3). Graduate surveyors with some related experience will be considered.

This role requires a strong analytical mindset and excellent organisational skills, as well as the ability to interpret data accurately.

We are a tech-forward company, and you would be trained to use drones. We have developed comprehensive report-writing software to mean you can spend more time focusing on surveying rather than report writing.

We are a chartered building consultancy accredited by the CIOB. There will be some support towards accreditation, with a strong focus on learning and development.

Responsibilities

  • Write reports outlining survey findings and recommendations.
  • Carry out Level 2 and Level 3 surveys
  • Defect reports
  • Damp reports
  • Timber reports
  • Roof condition reports
  • Expert witness work

Requirements

  • Proven experience surveying residential properties (prepurchase, damp reports, building surveys, roof condition reports)
  • Strong analysis skills to interpret survey data effectively.
  • Proficiency with modern surveying equipment – training will be provided for drone use
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in data recording and report preparation.
  • Ability to work independently
  • A valid driving licence is desirable for site access purposes. A company car can be provided after probation is passed.
  • A recognised qualification in surveying or similar.

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Work from home

Work Location: Hybrid remote in East London
