Geomatics Surveyor (Laser Scanning & Measured Surveys)
South-East London
£38,000 – £42,000 per year
About Us
Scope Surveys are a growing and technically focused surveying company based in South-East London, delivering high-quality measured surveys, laser scanning, and verified views across London and the South-East.
We are looking for an experienced Geomatics Surveyor to join our team as we continue to expand.
The Role
This role is suited to a surveyor who can confidently manage projects from site capture through to final deliverables, with a strong focus on laser scanning, scan registration, and measured survey outputs.
You should be comfortable working independently on site, while also contributing effectively within a wider team.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out topographical and measured building surveys
- Laser scanning and scan registration
- Producing verified views and survey deliverables
- Managing projects from site through to final output
- Setting out and survey control where required
- Liaising with clients and internal team
Essential Experience
- 6-10+ years’ experience in geomatics or land surveying
- Strong experience with laser scanning and point cloud registration
- Ability to manage projects independently from capture to delivery
- Good understanding of survey control and accuracy requirements
- Experience using Leica robotic total stations and scanners
Desirable Skills
- Leica Cyclone (or similar point cloud processing software)
- N4CE
- BricsCAD

- £38,000 – £42,000 salary (depending on experience)
