Aesthetic Nurse Educator

Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate Aesthetic Nurse Educator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an expert practitioner with extensive hands-on experience in advanced aesthetic treatments who is passionate about educating and mentoring other healthcare professionals.

As one of our educators, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality theoretical and practical training to qualified medical professionals, ensuring delegates develop the knowledge, confidence, and clinical competence to safely perform aesthetic procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for raising standards within the aesthetics industry.

Duties

  • Deliver engaging theory and hands-on practical training in:
  • Chemical peels
  • Microneedling
  • Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)
  • Skin boosters
  • Polynucleotides
  • Exosomes
  • Demonstrate safe injection techniques, patient assessment, facial anatomy, consultation skills, treatment planning, and complication management.
  • Supervise delegates during live patient treatments, ensuring procedures are performed safely and confidently.
  • Provide constructive feedback and ongoing support to delegates throughout the training day.
  • Ensure all teaching is evidence-based and compliant with current industry standards and best practice.
  • Maintain accurate training documentation and ensure high standards of patient care and safety throughout each course.
  • Work collaboratively with the Derma Institute team to continually enhance course content and the delegate experience.
  • Stay up to date with the latest techniques, products, research, and developments within aesthetic medicine.

Essential Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with a valid UK NMC registration.
  • Independent Nurse Prescriber.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience practising in medical aesthetics.
  • Extensive hands-on experience performing:
  • Anti-wrinkle injections
  • Dermal fillers
  • Chemical peels
  • Microneedling
  • PRP
  • Skin boosters
  • Polynucleotides
  • Exosomes
  • Excellent knowledge of facial anatomy, consultation, patient assessment, and complication management.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the confidence to teach small groups of healthcare professionals.
  • Professional, approachable, and passionate about developing others.
  • Willingness to travel to training locations as required.

Desirable

  • Previous teaching, mentoring, or training experience.
  • Level 7 qualification in Aesthetic Practice.
  • Experience teaching healthcare professionals.
  • Experience delivering full-face rejuvenation treatments.
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based practice and clinical governance.
