Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Assistant Aftersales Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will support the management of aftersales operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient handling of service requests. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop leadership skills within a reputable organisation, contributing to customer satisfaction and business growth.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the aftersales department, including service scheduling and client communication
- Support the team in upselling additional products or services to maximise revenue opportunities
- Handle customer enquiries professionally, providing solutions and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Oversee cash handling procedures during transactions, ensuring accuracy and security
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales, and service history
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure timely resolution of mechanical issues and service requests
- Contribute to training programmes for staff on customer service excellence and product knowledge
- Assist in analysing aftersales data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service or retail sales, preferably within the automotive or related industry
- Mechanical knowledge is desirable to understand technical aspects of products and services
- Strong upselling skills with the ability to identify sales opportunities naturally during customer interactions
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanour
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and securely
- Organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
