The Role

We’re looking for a dedicated Farm Assistant to support the day-to-day running of our Breeder farm in Gatesheath . You’ll work closely with the Farm Manager and Assistant Farm Manager as part of a collaborative team, helping us deliver the highest standards of bird welfare and farm operations.

Key Responsibilities

· Ensure the welfare of birds is always maintained

· Carry out daily observations, walking, and weighing of birds

· Uphold strict biosecurity and cleanliness standards

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with the Red Tractor scheme

· Take part in ongoing training and development

· Work effectively within a large, supportive team

What We’re Looking For

· NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Poultry Production (advantageous but not essential)

· Previous experience with poultry or livestock (desirable, but full training provided)

· Strong attention to detail

· Ability to work independently and take initiative

· Pay: £31,724.00 per year

· Full-time, permanent position
