Job Overview:

As Assistant Farm Manager you will assist and deputise for the Farm Manager at our broiler Farm . You will normally work with birds, organise farm administration, work equipment and monitor site contractors at all times. The ideal candidate will have a passion for agriculture and possess the necessary skills to manage farm activities effectively.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and supervise farm staff, providing guidance and support where needed

- Ensure that the welfare of the birds is adhered to at all times

- Day to day observations of birds and necessary paperwork

- Maintain up to date records as per Red Tractor Scheme standards

Skills:

- Attention to detail

- Ability to manage time effectively

- Computer literate

Experience and qualifications:

- Experience in the poultry industry is essential for this role

- NVQ Level 2 in Poultry Production
