Air Conditioning Surveyor

We are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Surveyor to join our growing team.

Cool 365 is an established air conditioning and ventilation company working across residential and commercial projects. Due to continued growth, we are looking for additional surveyors to visit customer sites, carry out surveys and produce accurate, professional quotations.

We want someone who can understand a customer's requirements, identify the best solution and accurately price the work required.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing opportunities from site survey through to quotation, including:

• Attending residential and commercial properties to carry out air conditioning surveys
• Reviewing any drawings, photographs and specifications provided by the client
• Discussing requirements with customers and providing technical advice
• Measuring room sizes and appropriate system capacities
• Selecting suitable indoor and outdoor equipment
• Advising on wall-mounted, floor-mounted, cassette and concealed/ducted systems
• Designing single-split and multi-split solutions
• Considering outdoor unit positioning, noise and access requirements
• Planning refrigerant pipework and condensate routes
• Identifying electrical supply requirements
• Assessing access requirements including scaffolding, towers and lifting equipment
• Taking accurate measurements, photographs and site notes
• Producing clear and accurate quotations following survey
• Ensuring quotations accurately reflect the labour, materials and complexity of each installation
• Following up quotations and answering customers' technical questions
• Maintaining accurate records on our internal system

What We're Looking For

Ideally, you will already have experience within the air conditioning, HVAC or building services industry. Full training will be provided.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Good technical knowledge of air conditioning systems
• Experience surveying or installing split and multi-split systems
• Ability to understand installation requirements and potential site complications
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills and confidence dealing directly with customers
• Ability to produce accurate quotations
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• Comfortable using computers- Outlook, Word & Excel
• Full UK driving license

We would also consider an experienced air conditioning engineer who is looking to move away from full-time installation/service work into a surveying and estimating position.
