Job Title: Air Conditioning Installation Engineer
Salary: Starting hourly rate negotiable depending on experience and qualifications
Location: Northern Ireland. Company van will be provided.
The job role:
Principal HVAC are a well-established modern, progressive company, providing a professional and efficient Air Conditioning and Ventilation service to our Clients throughout the UK & ROI.
Due to continued success and growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Air Conditioning Installer to join our team! If you are motivated and skilled, with a passion for delivering top-notch service in the HVAC sector, we want to hear from you!
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Install a range of air conditioning & refrigeration equipment including but not limited to split systems, multi split systems and VRV/VRF systems within our client’s premises
- Work in a safe and controlled manor, following all necessary internal health & safety processes and client specific site requirements
- Communicate findings back to the Project Manager, while at all times, building, nurturing and promoting good business relationships with our clients
- Take pride in your work to meet & maintain high quality standards
- Ensure appropriate paperwork is completed and maintained
- Review RAMS produced and ensure you manage and maintain any risk, controls in the working environment to maintain colleagues and the public’s safety
- Support the development of Junior and Apprentice engineers
- Ensure good relations and communication with all members of the team, providing excellent customer care in an efficient manner
Skills & Qualifications Required
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 qualification in Refrigeration & Air conditioning
- Solid knowledge and previous experience of installing air conditioning systems, working with Splits, VRV’s & Air Source Heat Pumps
- City & Guilds 2079 FGas Qualification required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Full UK Drivers’ Licence required
- Flexibility to work away from home if required
- Possess a “can do” attitude, with the ability to work as part of a team or independently
