Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems across various sites. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in mechanical systems, construction, or equipment maintenance to develop their expertise within a professional environment. The position requires a proactive approach, strong technical skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

  • Install new air conditioning units in residential, commercial, and industrial settings according to schematics and technical specifications.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on existing air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Interpret technical drawings and schematics to accurately assemble and install equipment.
  • Troubleshoot system faults, identify issues with equipment repair needs, and implement effective solutions.
  • Lead installation projects when required, supervising junior team members and coordinating tasks efficiently.
  • Ensure all installations comply with safety standards and building regulations.
  • Assist with the maintenance of tools and equipment used during installation processes.
  • Provide guidance on system operation and maintenance procedures to clients or site managers.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in air conditioning installation.
  • F-Gas certification is essential.
  • Proven experience installing split and multi-split systems.
  • Relevant air conditioning qualifications.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Electrical experience or qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential.
  • Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.

Pay: £36,000.00-£46,000.00 per year
