Full job description

Air Conditioning Installer (Individuals only)

Job type: Subcontract / self-employed
Materials: All materials supplied for the job
Rates: Payments ranging from £350–£425 per split-system installation.

As a guide, a single-split installation would be paid at one day’s rate. For multi-split systems, the rate would increase to account for the additional indoor units, effectively allowing an additional unit per day, depending on the job.

Mirai Energy Recruitment is recruiting experienced Air Conditioning Installers for a new domestic installation contract covering the HP postcode and surrounding area.

The work will be carried out in private customer properties within a relatively compact geographical patch.

The Role

  • Install domestic air conditioning systems.
  • Complete associated electrical and control connections where qualified.
  • Carry out installations safely and to manufacturer standards.
  • Work professionally within private customer properties.
  • Complete relevant installation paperwork and compliance documentation.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and customer service.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years’ air conditioning installation experience.
  • Relevant Air Conditioning / F-Gas qualifications.
  • Appropriate electrical competency / qualifications for the work being undertaken.
  • Strong domestic installation experience.
  • Professional and customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to complete required onboarding and compliance checks.

Onboarding Requirements - Engineers will require:

  • Clear DBS dated within the last 6 months at onboarding.
  • Asbestos Awareness dated within the last 3 months.
  • Manual Handling training dated within the last 3 months.
  • Working at Height training dated within the last 3 months.
  • F-Gas qualification
