Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems across various commercial, residentail and industrial sites. This role requires a strong technical background, leadership qualities, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure optimal climate control solutions. Duties

  • Install, service, and repair a wide range of air conditioning units and systems in line with manufacturer specifications and safety regulations.
  • Carry out routine maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably.
  • Diagnose faults accurately using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.
  • Interpret technical drawings and schematics to support installation and repair activities.
  • Complete equipment repairs, replacements, and upgrades to optimise system performance.
  • Work collaboratively with construction teams during new installations or refurbishment projects.
  • Maintain clear, detailed records of work completed, parts used, system readings, and refrigerant usage for compliance and future reference.

Requirements

  • Prior experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with proven experience in AC system installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Experience working on split and multi‑split systems.
  • Experience with Panasonic systems preferred.
  • Strong understanding of schematics, technical manuals, and system diagrams.
  • F-Gas Qualification
  • Excellent fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workload effectively..
  • Complete clear, accurate service reports, commissioning sheets, and FGAS/compliance documentation, including all readings, tests, actions taken, and refrigerant usage.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively in fast‑paced environments while adhering to health and safety regulations.
